Tandem Skydivefrom $235.00
A tandem jump provides the opportunity for a first time jumper to experience modern sport skydiving with little training. After approximately one hour of instruction you can make a jump using a parachute system built for two people, an instructor and a student. The tandem system will allow you and your instructor to freefall together for 45 to 60 seconds, then fly the canopy together to landing. Tandem jumping is an excellent way to take the fear and uncertainty out of your first jump.
Static Line First Jump Coursefrom $235.00
It takes approximately four to five hours of ground preparation before someone can make their first static line jump. At Skydive Pennsylvania these jumps are made from 4500 feet. Very few, if any, skydiving schools offer static line jumps from this height! As you fall away from the plane, the main parachute is deployed by a "static line" attached to the aircraft. You will experience about two to three seconds of falling as the parachute opens.
Instructor Assisted Freefallfrom $335.00
Instructor Assisted Freefall, often referred to as Accelerated Freefall, is an "accelerated" learning program similar to hiring a tennis or golf pro as a tutor. After five to six hours of ground training, the student makes a jump from 10,500 to 13,500 feet with two freefall instructors. The instructors fall with the student from the moment they leave the aircraft until opening, assisting the student as necessary to fall stable, monitor altitude, etc. The student then deploys his or her own parachute around 5,500 feet and flies the canopy to landing.
